My research concerns linguistic studies of Philippine languages, particularly Arta and Casiguran Agta, Philippine Negrito languages spoken in Quirino and Aurora provinces. My research interests include linguistic, sociolinguistic descriptions of these endangered languages, and morphosyntactic typology concerning ergativity and Philippine-type voice system, and theoretically, cognitive linguistics, discourse-functional linguistics, and pragmatics.
